Student Essentials was founded by Kostas whilst he was medical student at King's College London. He was working as a part time receptionist and every September, he will get overwhelmed by the number of students coming to the reception asking where to get their duvet, pillows and kitchen items.
There was no easy solution we could offer other than tell the students to take the tube or bus and find a big enough supermarket to buy all their essentials. Then they had to carry them back home, which was tiring and time consuming.
Student Essentials has now delivered to 1000s of students across many accommodations and universities in the UK and the number keeps going up. Not bad for a university student after all...
